About Reset Theory
Reset Theory is a practical field log about addiction recovery, rebuilding, and starting over from first principles: habits, avoidance, systems, work, technology, money, health, relationships, and the parts of life that need a clean restart.
When something keeps breaking, there are two choices: keep patching symptoms, or step back and ask what the system is actually doing. Reset Theory is about that second move.
This site is part notebook, part field manual. It’s where you can work through systems that shape everyday life: careers, software, money, discipline, recovery, attention, health, and the machinery of modern life that most of us are expected to navigate without a manual.
The goal is not self-improvement theater. It’s not productivity cosplay. It’s the slower, less glamorous work of understanding what went wrong, what still works, and what needs to be rebuilt from the ground up.
You’re inside the reset.
